Since 2010 the Southern Virginia Regional Alliance (SVRA) has been fostering regional collaboration to drive economic growth, strengthen the tax base, and enhance the quality of life for residents. The Accelerate 2030 five-year plan builds on past success and leverages that success into 2030. Funding for the work of the SVRA is a combination of private sector investments, and support from the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, and participating localities.
