2020 Workforce Summit

The Workforce Summit provides access to information on current workforce and education trends delivered by regional and state experts.

We will hear regional workforce updates from:

• Dr. Julie Brown | Director of Advanced Learning, Institute for Advanced Learning and Research
• Dana Wilson | Program Coordinator for Work-based Learning [WBL], Institute for Advanced Learning and Research

The Workforce Panel will focus on VEDP's Talent Accelerator and Virginia Jobs Investment Programs, and how they are being utilized in Danville and Pittsylvania County. This panel will be moderated by Linda Green, Executive Director of the Southern Virginia Regional Alliance.

Event Location: This event will be offered virtually through Zoom. A Zoom account is not required to participate, and participants will receive a link to join prior to the meeting. Admission Info: Registration Cost: $30; Member Rate: $20

Cancelations may be made without penalty up to 48 hours prior to the event date. Registrants will be charged the full registration fee for no-shows and/or cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.  Registrant substitutions are allowed and may be made at any time up to the start time of the event.
